Huawei has just introduced its newest high-performance tablet to the local market in Nepal, offering support for the latest Wi-Fi connectivity, a screen with thicker edges to accommodate the front camera and a physical fingerprint reader and more. Huawei’s proprietary Harmony OS powers the tablet, which has some of the best features available.
The new MatePad Pro 10.8 arrives, as you can imagine , with a 10.8 inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, slightly higher than the 16: 9 standard of older models. Its IPS LCD technology panel has a 2K resolution, 2560 x 1600 pixels, and a density of 280 ppi.
Furthermore, the tablet has a DCI-P3 color gamut and also has a 90% screen-to-body ratio because the bezels around the screen are uniform at 4.9mm. TUV Rheinland has certified the screen as anti-blue light, and it has a maximum brightness of 540 nits.
Equipped with a high-performance Snapdragon 870 chipset, Huawei also implements 6/8 GB of RAM and options with 64 GB/128 GB and 256 GB of storage.
The MatePad Pro’s 10.8-inch Midnight Grey color scheme has a timeless appeal. A similar smoothness and comfort is provided by the fine glass fiber texture. Second Generation M-Pencil can be used to build a wide range of hand-painting tools.
On the MatePad Pro 10.8, you’ll find Harmony OS 2.0 preinstalled. In the meantime, the company has enhanced the home screen and included widgets for service to boost efficiency. Additionally, some Huawei laptops can be used with a tablet as a secondary display. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, and USB 3.0.
Huawei also implements a 7,250 mAh battery and guarantees up to 11 hours of video playback, with support for fast charging of 40W. The tablet supports the 2nd gen M Pencil.
The tablet features a single rear-facing camera of f/1.8 aperture and a 13MP sensor. In addition, phase detection autofocus is included. For video calls and selfies, the 8MP front-facing camera boasts an f/2.0 lens.
But you will need to buy a charger separately. Still, you’ll get a Smart Magnetic Keyboard and a 2nd Generation M-Pencil. The MatePad Pro 2021 (10.8) comes in a single Midnight Gray color option.
