Mega Bank Nepal becomes a partner bank of the Asian Development Bank
Mega Bank Nepal Limited has become a partner bank of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Mega Bank has become the eighth partner bank of the Asian Development Bank among the ‘A’ class commercial banks in Nepal.
Adhering to the concepts of sustainable development goals, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has introduced Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program for inland trade with the objective of promoting small, medium enterprises and manufacturing industries through banks and financial institutions of the member countries.
The partnership between Mega Bank and ADB is aimed at promoting small and medium enterprises and productive sectors in Nepal. With this partnership, it will be easier for customers to do business with Mega Bank.
The Asian Development Bank issues a letter of guarantee when issuing a letter of credit for the import and export of goods. Mega Bank Nepal Limited is confident that this will help in the promotion of Nepal’s business as well as in job creation.
Mega Bank is proud to be a partner of ADB, said Anupama Khunjeli, Chief Executive Officer of Mega Bank. “I am confident that it will be easier and simpler for Mega Bank customers to do business internationally,” she said.
