MG (Morris Garage) has opened bookings for the MG ZS electric vehicle. Paramount Motors, MG’s official distributor for Nepal, has started bookings for the ZS EV from Sunday.
Long and short range versions of the vehicle are available. Both the 51.1 kWh and 72.6 kWh battery packs options are available to the customers.
A new and improved MG ZS EV 2022 has been unveiled by the manufacturer. An 8-speaker audio system and a 6.1-inch digital instrument cluster are standard in the cabin.
It has a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display and a 7-inch digital driver display. The exterior and interior of the vehicle is very elegant. It has headlamps, integrated LED DRL, LED tail lamps.
There’s also a gear selector with a rotary dial, driving mode selection, and braking regeneration. In addition to LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights, it also has LED taillamps.
An innovative driver aid system with automatic emergency braking dubbed MG Pilot is claimed to make the vehicle extremely safe.
A permanent magnet synchronous motor with 280 Nm of torque powers this vehicle.
The vehicle has a battery capacity of 72 kW (kWh) while the motor attached to it generates 115 kW of power.
It can accelerate to 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. The company claims that the vehicle will give a range of up to 440 km on a single full charge.
All-wheel disc brakes with good control as well as a tire pressure monitor and electronic stability control are also provided as are a power driver’s seat and automatic lighting and wipers.
There is also a 360-degree camera and mobile wireless charging. Additionally, it boasts adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and blind spot monitoring.
Safety features on the MG ZS EV include powered driver’s seat, automatic headlights and wipers, connected car technology, 6 airbags, hill start, descent control all-wheel disc brakes, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, lane keep assist and a 360-degree camera.

The company has set the starting market price of the electric MG ZS at Rs. 81,99,000. It is available in five different colors in Nepali market namely blue, silver, red, black and white.
