On Tuesday, the Xiaomi Civi 2 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC was released in China.

The 6.55-inch AMOLED display on this phone can refresh at up to 120 frames per second. It has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor and two additional 12-megapixel cameras in the back. Its primary selling point is a twin front-facing camera system that Xiaomi claims is their most powerful front-facing camera system to date. It has a primary camera with 32 megapixels and an ultra-wide angle sensor with the same resolution.

This mobile device operates on Android 12, with MIUI 13 as a skin. It has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixel) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 frames per second, a touch sampling rate of up to 240 frames per second, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and can show HDR10+ and Dolby Vision content. In terms of hardware, the Xiaomi Civi 2 is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The main camera of the Xiaomi Civi 2 is 50 megapixels and has an aperture of f/1.8. Two more cameras are included, one with a 20-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and the other a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

It has a front selfie camera with 32 megapixels and a secondary sensor with 32 megapixels and a 100-degree field of view for selfies. The camera app on the phone has a number of functions that make your photos look better.

Company specs states that it weighs roughly 171.8g and has dimensions of 159.2 by 72.7 by 7.23 millimeters.

The battery on the Xiaomi Civi 2 is 4,500 mAh and it supports 67W quick charging. The stainless steel VC liquid cooling technology used in the phone aids in keeping the device cool to the touch.

There are two SIM card slots on this 5G smartphone. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, and NFC are all supported by the Xiaomi Civi 2.

Xiaomi Civi 2 Price in Nepal

The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version of the Xiaomi Civi 2 may be purchased via the Xiaomi China online shop for a starting price of CNY 2,399 (about Rs. 43,700). There’s also a CNY 2,499 version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space (roughly Rs. 45,500). Finally, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option sells for CNY 2,799. (roughly Rs. 50,950).

In addition to black and blue, this Xiaomi smartphone now comes in a pink variant. Hello Kitty fans can purchase a white Xiaomi Civi 2 with a pleated pattern on the back that is exclusive to this limited edition model.

The company has said nothing about when or where this smartphone will be available internationally. A recent report, however, said that the Xiaomi Civi 2 could launch in worldwide markets under either the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE or the Xiaomi 13 Lite names.
