Maruti Suzuki launches Celerio X in Nepal

Suzuki is looking to spice up the four wheeler market in Nepal with the launch of their latest car, the Celerio X.

The new Celerio X sports an aerodynamic design and features a newly designed X-theme based graphic around the front grille while protective cladding on the side body and rear complete the aggressive look. The racy exterior adds to the visual bulk of the car.

“Celerio has successfully carved itself as a perfect family car for families in Nepal. With the Celerio X, Suzuki aims to give this well-accepted model a bold, stylish and sporty makeover as per the changing preferences of customers in Nepal,” said Executive Director of CG Motorcorp, Karan Chaudhary.

The new all black interior with white accents highlight the sporty nature of the car. The black seat trims are spiced with orange accents to further boost the sporty character of the Celerio X, reads a press release.

Suzuki has also paid attention to safety on the new Celerio X which comes equipped with a host of features such as dual airbags and anti lock braking system. It is also equipped with a driver side seat belt reminder.

The all new Celerio X is looking to enhance the driving experience through its revolutionary AGS (Auto Gear Shift) technology coupled with steering mounted audio controls and multi-info display. Under the hood lies the powerful 998cc K Next engine that produces 50Kw of power and 90Nm of torque. The three cylinder engine is BS4 compliant. The Celerio X has a 35 litre fuel tank with a claimed mileage of 23.1 kmpl.

Celerio X has a 5 person seating capacity with 235 litre of luggage space. It comes with an all new Paprika Orange as its signature colour to capture the youthful energy and sporty nature of the car. According to the company, the solid colour is married with matte and glossy black to help define character lines on the Celerio X. Customers can also opt for other colour options such as Artic White, Glistening Grey, Caffine Brown and Torque Blue.

The car has been given an introductory price of Rs2,699,000 by CG Motorcorp—the authorised distributor of Suzuki four wheelers in Nepal.
