Vivo launched the X23 back in October and the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has now come up with a Special Edition of the X23 dubbed the Vivo X23 Star Edition.
Vivo X23 Star Edition comes with a new paint job in the new lineup of 2019 smartphones which the company has now presented in a gradient glossy finish on its rear panel which is a ongoing trend amongst all key smartphone makers.
However, the paint job on the Vivo X23 Star Edition is a little different as it is a Red-coloured handset with streaks of other contrasting colours running through the middle in vertical lines.
Apart from the color, there are no changes in terms of price, features, and specifications. The key highlights of the handset include a water-drop display notch, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 3D glass body, Jovi AI, Face Unlock, a 6.41-inch display, Snapdragon 670 SoC, 8GB RAM, 3,400mAh battery, and more.
Vivo X23 Star Edition Specification
As far as hardware hardware is concerned, the smartphone boasts a large 6.41-inch Super AMOLED screen with a dotted line above the screen, so that it is 19.5: 9 and has a FHD + resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, and the display has a 2.5D curve more pronounced to the left and to the right. The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor has built-in acceleration system Turbo and Game Turbo technology. There are also 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory installed, and the fourth generation fingerprint reader is even faster and more accurate – the company claims it will respond only 0.35 milliseconds.
For optics, the Vivo X23 Star Edition also features a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 125-degree super wide-angle lens. It also comes with a 12-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity options in the Vivo X23 Start Edition includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 (with aptX), GPS, GLONASS, and OTG support. It packs the same 3,400mAh battery.
The Vivo 23 Star Edition is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS.
The Vivo X23 Star Edition will be priced $410.
