Samsung Galaxy A50 update brings improvements in several features

Samsung Galaxy A50

Samsung has begun rolling out updates for Galaxy A50 users that promises improvements in several existing features of the device . As described in the update, the performance of fingerprint sensor recognition has been improved.

The battery charging algorithm has also been improved so that it has more stability. The update also includes the August security patch .

What’s new:

  • Improved fingerprint sensor performance.
  • The following application has been installed: Snapchat
  • Improved battery charging algorithm and stability
  • Stability and improved overall functionality
  • Device security has been improved.

Something surprising is the fact that Samsung installs an application like Snapchat in this update. It is not known if it will differ from the version on the Play Store, but it is certainly not something that will please most users.

This firmware version was first released to users in India and weighs 320MB. Nepali users will still have to wait a while for it to reach their devices.

The update thus seems to continue to improve the overall quality of the device. As mentioned in Samsung’s forums, users can uninstall the Snapchat app if they find it unuseful and the big compliment in this update is the clear improvement in fingerprint sensor performance.
