Syakar Trading Company, the authorised distributor for Honda motorcycles and scooters in Nepal, and Jyoti Group is set to unveil Honda X-Blade motorcycle next week on Sept 3 .

Honda has launched the all-new X-Blade featuring a razor sharp design and a Robo-like face. The X-Blade flaunts an aggressive design language courtesy a sculpted fuel tank, taller fly screen, an underbelly cowl, dual outlet muffler and chunky grab rails. Other eminent features include an LED headlamp, LED tail lamp and an all-digital instrument cluster with a gear shift indicator, hazard light, and a service reminder.

The Honda XBlade is another product based on the firm’s 160cc platform that also underpins the CB Unicorn 160 and the CB Hornet 160R.

Powering the new Honda X-Blade is the company’s tried and tested 162.71 cc HET engine which churns out a maximum of 13.93 bhp at 8,500 rpm and develops a peak torque of 13.9 Nm at 6,000 rpm.It has a 12-litre fuel tank and a kerb weight of 140kg.

The bike comes with stunning and bold body dynamics and an aggressive factor that never fails to impress.

The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and Honda says that the engine has been specifically designed to deliver good low and mid-range performance.

The new Honda X-Blade shares its underpinning with the Honda CB Horner 160R and comes with a sharper design language and an all-LED headlamp cluster.

It gets a 276mm front petal disc brake from the Hornet, but there is no combi braking system and no disc brake at the rear. Tyres are, again, the same as the Hornet.

The styling will surely make it stand out from its siblings, but if that is not enough, Honda is also planning to make a few accessories available for a special edition XBlade. A (relatively) tall windscreen, a luggage rack at the back and a tank pad are on the accessories list.
