OnePlus Nord 2T 5G Launched With MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, 80W Charging and more
On Friday, OnePlus Nord 2T 5G was introduced in India. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G that debuted last year gets a modest improvement with the new OnePlus phone.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has the same triple rear cameras, 90Hz AMOLED display, and 4,500mAh battery as the Nord 2 5G.
However, the new phone features 80W quick charging and an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. These are two notable improvements over the Dimensity 1200-AI SoC and 65W charging seen in the Nord 2 5G.
The Motorola Edge 30, iQoo Neo 6, Poco F4 5G, Mi 11X, and the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G will be competitors of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G.
Specifications of OnePlus Nord 2T 5G
The dual-SIM (Nano) OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is equipped with a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate.
OxygenOS 12.1 is installed on top of Android 12. The display with the hole-punch design has HDR10+ certification and is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, combined with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, powers the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G.
The phone has a triple back camera array with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor and an optical image stabilization (OIS)-enabled f/1.8 lens.
A 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with an f/2.2 lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view are also included in the camera arrangement.
Up to 4K video recording at 30 frames per second is supported by OnePlus. Super Slow Motion video at up to 960 frames per second is one of the additional capabilities. A dual-LED flash is also included with the camera configuration.
The front of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 camera with an f/2.4 lens for selfies and video calls.
Storage on the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G may be expanded up to 256GB using UFS 3.1.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector as connectivity options.
An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and SAR sensor are among the sensors on board. Additionally, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
With twin stereo speakers and functionality for noise cancellation, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is equipped.
The phone has a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that allows fast charging @ 80W SuperVOOC (supported charger bundled in the box). Additionally, it is 190 grams in weight and 159.1×73.2×8.2mm in size.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G Price in Nepal
The entry-level 8GB RAM + 128GB storage OnePlus Nord 2T 5G model costs Rs. 28,999 in India. The phone is also offered in a 12GB + 256GB option, which costs Rs. 33,999.
Starting on July 5, the Gray Shadow and Jade Fog color choices of the OnePlus Nord 2T will be offered through Amazon, OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store app, OnePlus Experience Stores, and a few local retailers.
With a starting price of EUR 399 (about Rs. 33,000) for the 8GB + 128GB model and EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 41,300) for the 12GB + 256GB version, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G made its debut in Europe last month.
