In China, the Oppo A97 5G has gone on sale. With a 48-megapixel primary sensor, the latest Oppo A-series smartphone comes in two color variants.
The Mediatek Dimensity 810 SoC powers the Oppo A97 5G’s 90Hz refresh rate display. In addition to the 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the new gadget has an ability to boost the RAM up to 19GB using the additional inbuilt storage space. The battery capacity of the Oppo A97 5G is 5,000mAh and it supports 33W flash charging.

According to the description, the Oppo A97 5G has a 6.66-inch full-HD (1,080×2,020) display with a 90Hz refresh rate and runs on Android 12-based ColorOS 12.
An AI-powered smart eye protection feature is included with the display. The phone is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 810 SoC and features 12GB of RAM.
As per company claims, the RAM may be increased up to 19GB utilizing the internal storage.
The Oppo A97 5G has a 48-megapixel primary sensor in its dual rear camera array. The front of the phone has a 12-megapixel sensor for taking selfies. It has a built-in storage capacity of 256 GB.
There is a USB Type-C port on the phone that may be used to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The Oppo A97 5G has a fingerprint sensor located on the side and can be unlocked using facial recognition.
The new phone from Oppo features a 5,000mAh battery. There are claims that the battery can play video for up to 15 hours on a single charge using a 33W flash charger.
Oppo A97 5G has two stereo speakers and Dirac technology for better bass. It’s also quite large, measuring 76x176x8.1mm and weighing 194g.

The single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage edition of the Oppo A97 5G costs CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 37,825).
It is currently available for pre-order, and it will be available for purchase on July 15. Deep Sea Blue and Quiet Night Black are the two color options available.
