Oppo is gearing up to launch the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G in India, with the official launch date and key details now confirmed. The smartphone, which has been speculated to be a rebranded version of the Oppo A3 Pro introduced in China earlier this year, showcases a design and specifications that support this claim.
Launch Date, Design, and Color Options
The Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G will make its debut in India on June 13, as announced by Oppo on Thursday. According to the company’s website, the handset will be available in two elegant color options: Dusk Pink and Midnight Navy. Buyers will have the choice between two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
The design of the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G features a central circular camera module with a distinctive silver ring. The back panel is adorned with a vegan leather cover that includes a polycarbonate vertical stripe running down the middle, showcasing the ‘Oppo’ branding at the bottom. The right edge of the device houses the volume rocker and power button. The front display is a curved AMOLED screen with minimal bezels and a center-aligned hole-punch cutout.
Key Specifications
The Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G is built to withstand the elements, boasting IP69, IP68, and IP66 certifications for dust and water resistance. Additionally, it features a MIL-STD 810H build and a Swiss SGS Premium Performance 5 Stars Drop Resistance certification, highlighting its durability.
The handset is confirmed to sport a 3D curved AMOLED screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It measures a slim 7.89mm in thickness and weighs 177g, making it a sleek and lightweight option.
Given its expected rebranding from the Oppo A3 Pro, the F27 Pro+ 5G is likely to share similar specifications. The Oppo A3 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support, a 6.7-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED curved screen, a 64-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and an 8-megapixel front camera. In China, the A3 Pro is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model.
