On Wednesday, the Oppo Watch 3 series was released in China.
The newly introduced smartwatches include a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC and 1GB of RAM. This collection consists of the Oppo Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro.
Both types have a square dial, an aluminum frame, and a fiber-reinforced plastic case. The Oppo Watch 3 features a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 372×430 pixels. In addition, it has a 3D glass cover. The Watch 3 Pro has a 1.91-inch LTPO display with a resolution of 378×496 pixels.
Oppo Watch 3 Pro Specifications
The 1.91-inch LTPO full-curved flexible display on the Oppo Watch 3 Pro has a resolution of 378×496 pixels and a pixel density of 326ppi. It also features a C-type 3D glass cover.
The wristwatch is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. Accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, optical heart rate sensor, SpO2, ECG, ambient light, and air pressure sensors are among the onboard sensors.
The smartwatch is resistant to water up to 5 ATM. It supports an eSIM for network connectivity in addition to GPS and GLONASS, Bluetooth v5, and NFC. In full smart mode, the 550mAh battery is said to provide 5 days of power life.
The smartwatch is reported to have a 15-day battery life in light smart mode. According to the business, when the Watch 3 is in full smart mode with LTE connectivity, the battery life reduces to 4 days, and with heavy use, it can drop to 2.5 days. The Oppo Watch 3 Pro can be fully charged in approximately 65 minutes, and a 10-minute charge is said to last a full day.
The smartwatch has an aluminum main frame and an LNP unique glass-fibre-reinforced polycarbonate base shell. The Watch 3 Pro has dimensions of 50.4 x 38.5 x 12.75mm, excluding the heart rate monitor’s thickness. It weights around 37.5 grams without the strap.

Oppo Watch 3 and Oppo Watch 3 Pro have the same middle frame material, bottom shell, SoC, and RAM. It also shares the Watch 3 Pro’s storage configuration, Bluetooth version, and NFC capabilities.

According to Oppo, the Watch 3 has a battery life of 1.5 days with intensive usage and full smart mode enabled. The company also says that the watch can be charged in approximately 60 minutes, and that a 10-minute charge provides a full day of battery life.
Price and availability of Oppo Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro
The Platinum Black Viton Strap version of Oppo Watch 3 is priced at CNY 1,599 (about Rs. 30,250). The price for the Feather Gold Leather Strap variation is CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 32,150).
The base pricing of the Oppo Watch 3 Pro is CNY 1,999 (about Rs. 37,850) for the Platinum Black Viton Strap model and CNY 2,099 (approximately Rs.39,700) for the Desert Brown Leather Strap model.
Both smartwatches are presently available for pre-order on the Chinese website of Oppo. The company anticipates beginning shipment of the two smartwatches on August 19.
The Oppo Watch 3 is available in Platinum Black and Feather Gold. In contrast, the Oppo Watch 3 Pro is available in Platinum Black and Desert Brown.
