Redmi Note 13R has been launched in China as the latest smartphone from Xiaomi’s sub-brand. The new Redmi phone is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 4G that debuted in India earlier this month. It carries a waterdrop-style notch display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. The smartphone also comes with a triple rear camera unit, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Other key highlights of the Redmi Note 13R include a 6,000mAh battery and up to 8GB of RAM.
Features and Specs
The Redmi Note 13R runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top and features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop-style notch. The display is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the phone has the octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, along with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
For photos and videos, the Redmi Note 13R comes with the triple rear camera unit that includes the 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The camera unit is paired with an LED flash.
The Redmi Note 13R also comes with a 13-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.45 lens.
In terms of storage, the Redmi Note 13R has 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage as standard that supports expansion via a microSD card (up to 1TB) through a dedicated slot.
Connectivity options on the Redmi Note 13R include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi Note 13R packs a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Besides, the phone measures 164.9×76.9×9.1mm and weighs 205 grams.
Redmi Note 13R Price in Nepal
The Redmi Note 13R has just been launched and the price has been set at CNY 1,199 or $165 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone also comes in a 6GB + 128GB model at CNY 1,299 or $180 and the top-end 8GB + 128GB variant at CNY 1,499 or $207.
The Redmi Note 13R is currently available for purchase in China and comes in Black, Blue, and White colour options.
Details about the launch of the Redmi Note 13R in other markets, including Nepal, are yet to be revealed.
