Redmi Note 9 Pro launched with Snapdragon 720G, 5020 mAh battery and 48 MP camera
Redmi launched the Note 8 series back in August last year and 6 months later the company presented it’s latest batch of Note 9 series smartphones today at an online event held in India. The company as usual launched two devices Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max at an incredibly affordable price point.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro in many ways resembles the premium Max variant when it comes to display size, processor, internal storage size, punch hole camera for selfies and a 5020 mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro features a 6.7-inch 1080p IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, with a screen to body ratio of 84.5% , 20:9 aspect ratio and 395 ppi density. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and embedded in it a 16-megapixel punch-hole camera supported by artificial intelligence for selfies.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G, which combines eight Kryo 465 cores with a clock frequency of up to 2.3 gigahertz, and an Adreno 618 graphics accelerator.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro comes in two memory and storage configuration of 4GB and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with 64GB and 128GB of internal UFS 2.1 storage. The storage can be further expanded with the help of micro-sd card upto 512GB.
The phone comes with the quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM2 primary sensor with a six-piece f/1.79 lens. The camera setup also has an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with a macro lens, and a 2-megapixel fourth sensor for depth sensing. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front that supports artificial intelligence (AI) based features.
The battery is identical to that of its Pro Max variant, this smartphone has 5,020 mAh of capacity but with a lower fast charge of only 18W and the charger is included in the box pack.
The new Redmi Note 9 Pro arrives with 4G, WiFi 5 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port. In addition, its body is protected against water splashes with P2i certification and comes in three colors: blue, white and black. Or as Redmi prefers to call them, Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Black.
The smartphone comes with a side-mounted sensor and has bottom-firing speakers as well as dual microphones with noise cancellation support.
The dual nano sim supporting device runs on Android 10 and MIUI 11 interface on top.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Price in Nepal
The Redmi Note 9 Pro has been initially launched in the Indian market and may very soon be launched in the domestic market.
The smartphone is available in two memory configurations, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that will be sold from INR 12,999 or NRs 20,799 in direct conversion, and the second version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that comes for INR 15,999 or NRs 25,599 , almost NRs 5000 more expensive.
