In the span of a few days, Vivo Y21T has been released in India after debuting in the Indonesian market. The Y-series phone is the latest from the company and is positioned in the middle of the price range. The smartphone comes with 4GB+128GB of storage with Extended RAM 2.0, which uses up to 1GB of unused ROM space to boost performance.
“Vivo‘s young Y-Series is built for millennials who always have a propensity for immersive experience and technology,” stated Yogendra Sriramula, Director, Brand Strategy, Vivo India. The Y21T comes equipped with top-of-the-line features that guarantee a first-rate user experience.
It has an HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,408 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate on a 6.58-inch screen. It also offers an Eye Protection mode that reduces eye strain by filtering out blue light. It comes in Midnight Blue and Pearl White colors.
The Snapdragon 680 SoC powers it, and runs on Android 11 with Funtouch OS 12 user interface on top. Fast charging at 18W is supported by the device’s big 5,000 mAh battery. Using the phone as a power bank is also possible with the phone’s reverse charging.
In addition to the 50 megapixel primary camera, the Vivo Y21T boasts a 2 megapixel macro lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor on the back of the device. A front-facing 8 megapixel camera is available for taking selfies and video calls.
Personalized Portrait Mode, Super HDR, and Super Night Mode, as well as AI Beautification Mode and AI Editor, are all included in the camera app.
Even after extended use, the ‘Multi Turbo 5.0’ technology improves data transmission, system processor speed, and power-saving performance. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth V5, GPS/A-GPS as well as FM radio on the newly unveiled smartphone.
