The newest member of Vivo’s Y-series, the Y52 5G (2022), has debuted in Taiwan. The new Vivo smartphone comes in two color options, each with a waterdrop-style notch display and a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.
The Vivo Y52 5G (2022) is visually identical to the Vivo Y52 5G that was released in Europe in May of 2021. In addition to its 48-megapixel triple rear cameras, 5,000mAh battery, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage, the new phone also boasts some impressive additional features.

The 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) IPS LCD display on the Vivo Y52 5G (2022) is powered by Funtouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12. The new device has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 system-on-chip (SoC) and 4GB of random-access memory (RAM).
A 48-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.79 lens, a 2-megapixel shooter with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens make up the Vivo Y52 5G (2022)’s triple rear camera setup.
A front-facing camera with 8 megapixels and an f/2.0 aperture is available for taking self-portraits. In addition to its 128GB of built-in storage, microSD cards can be used to add even more space, making the Vivo Y52 5G (2022) ideal for media consumption on the go.
The Vivo Y52 5G (2022) has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, FM, NFC, USB OTG, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. An electronic compass, gyroscope, gravity sensor, light sensor, and distance sensor are among the onboard sensors. A fingerprint reader is included for added security.
The new Vivo Y52 5G, like its predecessor, features a 5,000mAh battery that is compatible with 18W fast charging (2022). It has dimensions of 163.95 mm x 75.30 mm x 8.50 mm and a mass of 193 grams.
