Vivo Y70 expected to launch with Exynos 880 and Triple Camera Setup
Not long ago, the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo introduced the Vivo Y70s to the market. It was the first device to feature a Samsung processor, the Exynos 880, including support for the fifth generation network. Now, just days before the manufacturer announced its vanilla version Vivo Y70, the main features were revealed online through the Chinese website Weibo.
According to the information, the Vivo Y70 will be equipped with the same Exynos 880 chipset as the version Y70s. In addition, it will be available in variants with 6GB and 8GB of RAM, an internal storage of 128GB and a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging of 18W.
Vivo Y70 specifications
- LCD screen with Full HD + resolution and punch hole (dimensions not confirmed)
- 60Hz refresh rate
- Exynos 880 processor
- 6GB / 8GB RAM
- 128GB of internal memory (no support for expansion)
- Triple rear camera: 48MP (Samsung GM1) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (depth)
- 8 megapixel front camera (OV8856)
- 4,500mAh battery with support for fast charging at 18W
- Android 10
In the camera department, it will have a main sensor of 48MP, an ultra wide-angle lens of 8MP, a camera for depth of 2MP and a sensor of 8MP for selfies. Interestingly, the leak says that this smartphone will have support for the EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) feature.
A possible presentation date for Vivo’s new mid-range smartphone has not yet been revealed, however, everything indicates that it will be presented in China later this month. In the first phase, it will most likely be exclusive to the Chinese market, after which it will be launched in various international markets.
As for its price, the publication confirms that the variant with 6GB of RAM will hit the market for € 226, while the most powerful will cost around € 250.
Considering these prices and its list of specifications, it seems unlikely that Vivo Y70 will be able to compete with the large offer of its rivals in the smartphone market.
