Earlier, Ni Fei, president of ZTE’s smartphone division, confirmed that the world’s first commercially available smartphone with a front-facing camera under the screen will be unveiled on September 1.
Now the Head of the ZTE mobile division has published a high-quality image of the ZTE Axon 20 5G smartphone in high resolution. Ni Fei stated, that implementing a front-facing camera under the screen was extremely difficult in terms of technology used as well as production cost, but ZTE succeeded with the task.
The ZTE Axon 20 5G will be a fairly light and thin smartphone with a weight of 198 mm and a thickness of 7.9 mm. According to the information specified in the TENAA database, the smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 765G SoC and the screen of the device has a diagonal of 6.92 inches with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 which is based on OLED technology.
The main camera is equipped with image sensors with a resolution of 64MP, 8MP, 2MP and 2MP. The front camera will be of 32 megapixel. The battery capacity of the ZTE A20 5G is 4120 mAh, the smartphone runs on the Android 10 operating system.
