Oneplus to launch Flagship Killer TVs at the end of September

Oneplus TV

Almost a year ago, OnePlus co-founder and CEO Pete Lau promised to release a smart TV, but he didn’t give exact dates. Now, MySmartPrice has found out information about the announcement date from “reliable” sources.

According to the source, OnePlus plans to release a smart TV in the last week of September, or more precisely, from 25 to 30. The most likely date for the presentation is September 26th. However, the company’s plans may still change, as there has not yet been official confirmation.

According to documents from the Bluetooth SIG , the OnePlus line of smart TVs may debut in China, India and the United States. The series will include models with a diagonal of 43, 55, 65 and 75 inches. The TVs come with support for Bluetooth 5.0 and provide a “unique experience using Android TV”

According to past leaks, OnePlus TV will get a 4K HDR panel, a voice assistant like Google Assistant, which can also work without a remote control. The television is expected to feature OLED panels instead, although perhaps not in all versions. It is also expected to come with “premium” design and image enhancement functions using the artificial intelligence system.

It is worth noting that Google does not allow manufacturers to modify or customize Android TV platform, so it remains unclear how will OnePlus TV stand out from the rest of the manufacturers.
