iPhone SE2 to launch with Apple A13 Bionic at just $399
Last night, a well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed additional details about Apple’s upcoming smartphone iPhone SE 2, which is due out early next year.
As mentioned earlier, the appearance of the smartphone will be very similar to the iPhone 8, just as the original iPhone SE used to copy the iPhone 5S. According to Kuo, iPhone SE 2 will come in three colors (silver, space gray and red), as well as in two storage versions with 64GB and 128 GB of flash memory.
The device will come equipped with the hardware base of the iPhone 11, and more precisely, the Apple A13 Bionic chipset, which will work in conjunction with 3 GB of RAM. Presumably, the iPhone SE 2 will be equipped with a 4.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels.
iPhone SE 2 will not support 3D Touch functionality. Kuo believes that Apple will order 2 to 4 million iPhone SE 2 per month, depending on demand. The analyst believes that Apple will sell more than 30 million iPhone SE 2 phones in 2020.
The price of the smartphone will start at $ 399. Apple is currently selling the new iPhone 8 with 64GB flash for $ 449.
Announcement of new items is expected in the first quarter of next year.
