Himalayan Bank has launched two new cards in collaboration with American Express Card. The bank has launched credit card and prepaid card in collaboration with American Express Card.
The bank’s new credit card will be especially handy for those who travel frequently and purchase a wide variety of things.
According to the bank, the prepaid card has been issued targeting students and other travelers going abroad for higher education studies. The card users will get various benefits and discounts while paying with the card. This will make it easier for card users to manage their expenses.
While launching the card, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Himalayan Bank, Ashok Shamsher Rana said that they have a long-standing relationship with American Express and have launched two new cards targeting different categories of customers. He expressed happiness that this partnership has been able to continue the relationship.
Divya Jain, Vice President and Business Head, Network Partnerships, American Express South Asia, said she is excited to launch the two cards in Nepal.
It is said that these cards will provide benefits to local customers visiting different countries and provide benefits in every transaction. Customers using this card can get attractive cashback and benefits on visits and purchases.

1. Himalayan Bank American Express Credit Card
Users of Himalayan Bank American Express Credit Card can get cash back (cashback) of up to Rs. 3000 per year at 0.50 percent or more for doing local transactions including online payments through the card.
Similarly, credit card users can get 1 free night from the hotel when booking at least 2 nights at Club Himalaya, 10% discount on purchases at United Colors of Benetton, 15% discount on all items at Sports Plaza, 33% discount on Missio and up to 10% off on Epic Mountain Bikes.
Also, users of this card will get access to Loungebody lounges around the world, 10 percent discount when booking through www.ww.rentalcars.com and up to 15 percent discount when booking through Avis Car Rental.
2. Himalayan Bank American Express Prepaid Card
Himalayan Bank American Express Prepaid Card is especially tailored for students traveling abroad for higher education, can get cash back up to Rs. 2,400 per year at a rate of 0.50 percent or more for doing local transactions including online payments through the card.
The bank has informed that prepaid card users can get up to 15 percent discount on all goods of Sports Plaza, 33 percent discount on Missio and up to 40 percent discount on www.booking.com.
