Classic Tech Introduces highest internet speed of 1 Gbps for the first time in Nepal
Internet service provider Classic Tech has unveiled 1 Gbps speed internet package for the first time in Nepal. The package, which the company has newly introduced was unveiled at a function on Tuesday.
Earlier, WorldLink had launched a highest speed package of 600 Mbps in Nepali market. Classic Tech has ousted WorldLink from this speed race and crowned itself with the ISP offering highest internet speed in Nepal. The company has branded the high speed internet package as Tachyon.
According to the company, three IPTVs are also included in the 1 Gbps speed internet package. The annual price has been set at Rs 47,988.
This means that customers who purchase an annual package will have to pay Rs 3,999 per month for this package. The package includes free installation, FTTH cable and dual band 5G router.
However, a deposit of Rs 500 will be required for the router. It is also mentioned that a deposit of Rs. 500 is required for the IPTV set-top box. Apart from this, the company has also brought other packages of 625 Mbps, 325 Mbps, 225 Mbps and 150 Mbps speeds.
Customers who purchase the annual package are required to pay Rs 2,499 per month for 625 Mbps, Rs 1,249 for 325 Mbps, Rs 1,399 for 225 Mbps and Rs 1,199 for 150 Mbps internet speed package.
The packages include one IPTV on 150 Mbps speed internet and two IPTVs on the remaining 225 Mbps and 325 Mbps and three IPTVs in 625 Mbps package.
The ISP is also offering Mesh 2.0 routers at an additional cost of Rs 8000 per unit which requires a security deposit of Rs 2000 and smart installation charges of Rs 3000 per unit.
