Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched it’s new mid-range device – Oppo A53 in the Nepali market market. The company has also announced the launch of this device in the Indian market on August 25.
Oppo’s A53 is the world’s first smartphone that is powered by Snapdragon 460, a low performing SoC for lower mid-range handsets. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 Mobile Platform delivers impressive mobile experiences with gigantic performance leaps, first-in-tier AI, and feature-packed camera experiences.
Oppo A53 2020 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 720×1600 pixel resolution. The display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor coupled with 4GB of RAM.
The device comes with 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by installing a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own ColorOS 7.
The A53 comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Coming to the camera, the Oppo A53 2020 sports a triple rear camera setup which consists of 16MP main sensor and two 2MP sensors for wide-angle and depth. The front houses a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone offer 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C.

Oppo A53 2020 Price in Nepal
Oppo A53 has been initially launched in Indonesian market and will also be introduced in the Indian market on August 25. The company has priced the lone variant with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage in the Indonesian market at IDR 2,499,000 which converts to NRs 20,225. The device is also expected to hit the Nepali market soon.
Update : Oppo Nepal has launched the A53 with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage in Nepali market at a price tag of Rs 22,990.
