Today we have a video that shows us the alleged Xiaomi Pocophone X2 being unboxed by a indian youtuber named Agrawalji Technical. It is not clear at this point how he managed to get his hands on the device that has not been launched yet.
Poco, the company that made the Xiaomi Pocophone F1, is now independent from Xiaomi. In other words, we can expect a busy 2020 year schedule for the company.
Rumors say that Poco will have 3 new smartphones and before we look at what to expect, we have a video that shows us a namely the new “X” range otherwise known as Poco X.
The video shows us the smartphone box and the details inside. As you might expect, we have a smartphone, data cable and charger.
Unfortunately we do not have a concrete look on the smartphone, however, since it is already in the hands of users who make unboxing videos, it is a matter of time before more appear.
Poco X2 : A Rebranded Redmi K30
So, just looking at the back of the smartphone, we can see that the device is basically a Xiaomi Redmi K30. This means that Poco will save on research and development and simply change the name of the Redmi K30 to its name. This smartphone will certainly be the device that will target the mid-range smartphones segmment in the European and Indian markets.

Poco is expected to bring 3 new devices in early 2020. These 3 smartphones mentioned above will be divided into different market segments.
The Pocophone F2 was expected to launch last year, but that did not happen. Xiaomi introduced the Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T series of devices instead. Hopefully the F2 and F2 Lite have better inspirations.
Judging from all the information that has emerged so far about this smartphone, everything points to it being a global variant of the already announced Redmi K30 4G. According to latest official announcement the devices will be ready for launch in February 2020.
