Razer Opus Wireless Headphones launched with Active Noise Canceling

Razer has announced the launch of the Razer Opus Wireless Headphones with Active Noise Canceling (ANC). More precisely, the manufacturer calls it an “advanced hybrid active noise reduction system”, noting that four dedicated microphones are included in the system. Two more microphones are used for voice communication.

The headphones are equipped with 40 mm dynamic drivers. The range of reproducible frequencies is 20-20,000 Hz. For wireless connection, the Bluetooth 4.2 interface is endowed. The list of supported codecs and profiles includes AAC, aptX, A2DP, AVRCP and HFP.

The headphones are THX certified, providing crystal clear sound with a wide, perfectly balanced sound environment. The manufacturer also includes soft ear cushions and a headband made of foam material and artificial leather, which provide comfort even with prolonged wearing. The battery life when the ANC function is turned on reaches upto 25 hours.

If necessary, noise reduction is instantly turned off, allowing you to hear the outside world, and the presence of a TRS connector with a diameter of 3.5 mm ensures maximum compatibility with sound sources.

With the Opus mobile application, one can create profiles ,change the equalizer settings and make other settings, as well as check the battery status.

Headphones are already priced at $230/210 euros. They weigh at 265 g.
