In China, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition was released on Tuesday. The new Xiaomi brand smartphone is very similar to the standard Redmi Note 12 Pro. But the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition has a Snapdragon 778G SoC and comes in three different hues.
It features a notchless display and a trio of cameras on the back, with the main snapper packing 108 megapixels. The latest variant, like the Redmi Note 12 Pro, has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.

Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED flexible display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ compatibility, as well as Android 12 with MIUI 14.
Both PWM dimming at 1920 Hz and the DCI-P3 color space are included in the display. An octa-core 6nm Snapdragon 778G SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM are at the heart of the latest Redmi model.
A 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 sensor with an f/1.89 lens is part of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition’s triple rear camera set.
A 2 megapixel macro lens and an 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle lens are also a part of the camera package.
A 16-megapixel camera is located on the front of the device, making it ideal for taking photos and making video calls. The smartphone has up to 256GB of storage capacity using UFS 2.2.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition has a variety of wireless networking choices, including 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C connection.
There are numerous on-board sensors, including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, acceleration sensor, e-compass, distance sensor, infrared (IR) remote control, and gyroscope.
The Speed Edition, like the Redmi Note 12 Pro, is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that can be rapidly recharged using the device’s 67W charger. It weighs 181 grams and has dimensions of 162.9 by 76.0 by 7.9 millimeters.

Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition Price and Availability
The base 6GB RAM + 256GB storage model of the recently released Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition costs CNY 1,699.
The model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, can be purchased for CNY 1,799, while the flagship model, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, costs CNY 1,999.
It is currently available in China at Mi.com in Midnight Black, Shimmer Green, and Time Blue. However, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition’s official release date in other global markets is yet to be announced.
