Samsung launches rugged smartphone, Galaxy XCover Pro

Samsung, decided to release a new smartphone quietly which features a sturdy, rugged case – the Galaxy XCover Pro.
The device features a rubberized case with protection according to the IP69 standard. The smartphone withstands harsh weather conditions, does not pass dust and water, and is also resistant to mechanical stress.
Compared with previous models, the TFT screen has slightly changed in the new product – the bezels of the 6.3-inch display are smaller. The screen resolution is 1080×2400 pixels.
Inside, the Galaxy XCover Pro has an Exynos 9611 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further up to 512 GB with a memory card. The battery capacity is 4050 mAh and there is support for fast charging at 15 watts. In addition, the battery can be removed from the housing. The smartphone comes with Android 9 out of the box.
At the back there is a dual camera with a main sensor of 25 MP and an additional 8-megapixel wide-angle. The display has a 13-megapixel front camera, hidden in a cutout, as in the Galaxy S10.
First of all, the smartphone will appear in Finland at a price of $560. Sales will begin on January 31st. There is no information on the launch of the this device in other countries yet.
