Sony presented this Thursday it’s newest set of truly wireless(TWS) earbuds WF-SP800N. The sport headphones is targeted towards athletes, frequent workout freaks or any music lover. The highlights of this earbuds include – active noise cancellation, IP55 water and dust resistance, secure fit and a battery life of upto 26 hours.

Sony’s new model WF-SP800N fits in between the more expensive WF-1000XM3($230) and a cheaper WF-XB700 ($130) earbuds. Sony has stated that the SP800N is equipped with the same Bluetooth chip as the more expensive version WF-1000XM3. Hence, these earbuds provide quick pairing, low audio latency and stable connection.

At full charge, the headphones offer 9 hours of power, while the handy charging case provides an extra 9 hours. That’s up to 18 hours of noise-free listening. With noise-canceling switched off, it’s even longer—13 hours of power on a full charge, with an extra 13 hours provided by the charging case, for up to 26 hours of play time. And if you’re in a hurry, 10 minutes’ quick charging gives you up to 60 minutes of music playback with noise canceling.

WF-SP800N Truly Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones

360 Reality Audio can be enjoyed on the WF-SP800N headphones when combined with an Android smartphone/iPhone that has a participating streaming services app installed. 360 Reality Audio offers a custom immersive musical field that is perfectly optimized for each individual user when utilizing the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app.

Each bud weighs in at 9.5 grams which is a bit on the heavier side. There are touch controls on each side as well as adaptive sound control with distinct profiles for walking, running, and different commuting modes. You’ll also be able to fine-tune the sound output through Sony’s Headphones Connect app. They pair over Bluetooth 5.0 and work with both Android and iOS. In the updated app, profiles can be tied to geolocation information, which will automatically activate the sports profile when visiting a sports club.

Adaptive Sound Control automatically adjusts ambient sound settings to suit the current environment for the ultimate listening experience. The earbuds features Smart control technology which enables users to play, stop or skip through music and adjust the volume by simply placing a finger on the right earbud and then turn down the music by placing a finger on the left earbud.
