Vivo’s recently unveiled V23 appears to be a direct competitor for the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, which was recently launched in India. So let’s have a look at a brief comparison of the two smartphones.

The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge has been unveiled as India’s fastest-charging smartphone with a 120W output.

It is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+, which was announced in China last year.

The Dimensity 920 processor powers both the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge and Vivo V23. AMOLED displays are found on both of these smartphones, but the Xiaomi offers a 120Hz refresh rate. A 108-megapixel primary camera is included with the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, while the Vivo V23 only has a 64-megapixel primary sensor. In addition, they are both 5G-ready.

With all that in account, we compared the two phones to see which one was superior on paper.

Display : The Vivo V23 features a 90 Hz AMOLED HDR10+ display of 6.44 inches with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution at 20:9 ratio. It has Schott Xensation Up glass from German technology for protection.

Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge on the other hand also features a slightly larger 6.67 inches AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution of 20:9 ratio. The screen has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and supports HDR10. For protection, it comes with Gorilla Glass 5.

Processor: Both of these smartphones come powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 920 SoC(6nm). Hence, both of these phones are equally powerful when it comes to processing tasks. The Dimensity 920 SoC is an octa-core chipset and is clocked at 2.5 GHz paired with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU .

RAM : The Vivo V23 smartphone is available in 8GB and 12GB variants. Whereas, the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge is offered in 6GB and 8 GB variants.

Internal Storage: The Vivo V23 available in 128GB and 256 GB internal storage variants. Whereas, the Xiaomi phone is only available in 128 GB single storage option.

Rear Camera: The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge comes with triple camera setup on the rear with 108 MP primary camera along with 8 MP ultra wide angle and 2 MP macro lens.

On the other hand, the Vivo V23 is also equipped with triple set of cameras including a 64 MP primary sensor along with 8 MP ultra wide angle and 2 MP macro lens.

Selfie Camera : The Vivo V23 features an advanced dual front-facing cameras with 50 MP sensor and an additional 5 MP ultra wide angle lens.

Whereas, the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge comes with a basic 16 MP selfie camera.

Operating System : The Xiaomi phone runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top. Whereas, the Vivo V23 runs Android 12 with FunTouch OS 12 user interface on top.

Dimensions : The Vivo phone weighs 181 gms and has a dimesion of 157.2 x 72.4 x 7.4 mm. Whereas, the Xiaomi phone weighs 204 grams and measures at 163.7 x 76.2 x 8.3 mm.

Battery: As the name suggests, the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge features a 4500 mAh battery with 120W charging support. The Vivo V23 on the other hand has a slightly smaller 4200 mAh battery with 44W charging support.

Price : In the Indian market both of these phones are priced in the 25-35K price bracket.

The Vivo V23 is slightly expensive phone whose base variant of 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage costs INR 29,990 while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs INR 34,990.
