Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus Vs Galaxy J6 Plus: What are the Key Differences ?
The Galaxy J4 Plus and the Galay J6 Plus are Samsung’s intermediate smartphones with very similar specifications. Both bring the same design, quad-core processor, 6-inch screen with HD + resolution and thin edges. The differences are due to features such as dual camera and RAM. 1 Design and screen
The look of the two phones is very similar and has features of premium smartphones, such as the rear glass of the Galaxy S9 . The screen is similar, with 6 inches, HD + resolution (1480 x 720 pixels) and thin edges . The difference lies with the fingerprint reader only available on the Galaxy J6 Plus.
Another unusual point is colors. The Galaxy J4 Plus can be found in black, copper and pink finish. The Galaxy J6 Plus in turn, is available in black, silver and red. Both models weigh 178 gms.
2 Performance and Storage
The repetition of characteristics is also found in the specifications. The smartphone’s processor is the Snapdragon 425, quad-core chip of 1.4 GHz. The RAM memory , in turn, is 2 GB in the Galaxy J4 Plus and 3 or 4 GB option in the Galaxy J6 Plus. Both smartphones have a 32 GB of storage and microSD memory card slot. Additionally, the J6 Plus also has a 64 GB variant.
This means that Samsung smartphones must have the ability to perform the main tasks of everyday life, such as accessing social networks, productivity apps, email, among others, without much difficulty. The main difference is in the cameras . The Galaxy J6 Plus has a dual camera system with two 13- and 5-megapixel sensors with f / 1.9 and f / 2.2 apertures , respectively, with Portrait Mode . 4 Battery Life
The specifications of the two phones also carry the same 3,300 mAh battery. According to Samsung, both smartphones have a battery life of 16 hours of internet access via 4G networks.
5 Operating System
Both come with Android 8 (Oreo) in stock flavour, with customization of the Samsung Experience interface. Among the modifications are Dual Messenger , which allows you to use two WhatsApp accounts, and the Secure Folder . There is no update forecast for Android 9 (Pie) .
In terms of bio-metrics, Samsung’s smartphones feature facial recognition . The Galaxy J6 Plus, however, stands out, by also bringing the fingerprint reader to the side.
6 Price and Availability
The Galaxy J6 Plus and Galaxy J4 Plus is already available in all leading online and offline stores across Nepali markets. The phones are available to purchase at a amount of Rs.19,390 for the Galaxy J4+ 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage while the Galaxy J6+ is available in two variants – NRs.23,690(3/32GB) and NRs.27,990(4/64GB).
