Citroen C5 Aircross SUV launched in Nepali market by Shangrila Motors
Citroen brand’s C5 Aircross SUV has entered the Nepali market. The SUV has been introduced by Shangri-La Motors Pvt. Ltd. as the official distributor of Citroen in Nepal.
The C5 Air Cross, which was made public in the Indian market a while ago, has also been made available in the Nepali market now. The five-seater SUV by Citroen brand has officially entered for the first time in Nepal.
The C5 Aircross has a 1598 cc petrol engine that generates 165 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque. It has a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The SUV has a length of 4500 mm, a width of 1840 mm, a height of 1670 mm, a wheelbase of 2730 mm and a ground clearance of 230 mm.
The car features a panoramic sunroof, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, electronic parking brakes, dual zone auto climate control, free tailgate, and electric adjustable driver’s seat.
The C5 Aircross has a boot space of 720 liters. The car has an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. For safety, the vehicle has 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, Auto Hold, Grip Control with Hill Descent Assist, Active Blind Spot Monitoring, Active Lane Keeping Assistance, Advanced Driver Attention Alert, Front and Rear Parking Sensors in front and rear parking sensors are available.
The premium segment SUV also features several features including – smart key with illuminated start button, 180 degree rear view camera, Bluetooth connectivity with steering mounted control, tire pressure indicator, pedal shifter, electrically adjustable ORVM, tilt and telescopic function, electric power switch, Coffee Brake Alert, Down Hill Assist and Sport Mode.
The audio system has six-speaker stereo and supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There is also the facility of wireless charging and voice recognition.
Citroen C5 Aircross Price in Nepal
This SUV of Citron brand, which has entered the Nepali market for the first time, has been imported directly from France. Its value is set at Rs 13.5 million. The first batch of vehicles entering Nepal has already been sold out and the next batch of vehicles will enter Nepali market in about two weeks, said a company source.
