ITALJET BUCCANEER 250i Price in Nepal
In the current hipster phenomenon and the trend of more demand for motorcycles with classic and vintage lines invoking the Café Racers of the 70’s, we have seen many brands positioning themselves in this market and developing new products specific to this segment.
This is the case of Italjet which has launched its new Bucaneer 250, a bike that has the particularity of mounting a 250cc V-twin engine with 2 valves per cylinder and SOHC, with electronic injection, which develops 17.4 CV at 8,000rpm and with a max. from 19Nm to 6,000rpm.
Assembled with a 5-speed gearbox, the final transmission is made by chain drive. It weighs only 128Kg attested with 14 liters of fuel. The single-seat bench is only 820mm high. Mounts 100 / 80-17 tires on the front and 130 / 90-15 rear.
Braking is in charge of a single disc in front of 280mm with 4 piston calipers and a 240mm disc behind. The 37mm telescopic front suspensions are not adjustable and the rear damper is preload adjustable.
There are, however, not many Café Racers of medium displacement and 250cc engine and two V-cylinders, so we can make comparisons so that Bucaneer turns out to be the only one of its kind.
Its attributes are appealing aesthetics and attractive price, in addition to an exhaust sound that seems to be from a motorcycle with superior displacement. The Buccaneer 250i is consistent with both the world trends and the current Italjet bike production.
ItalJet Bucaneer is currently available in Nepal and is priced at Rs.5,50,000.
