Nepal Startup Fest 2022 to be held on 25th June, 40 startups to participate

The Confederation of Nepalese Industries is going to organize Nepal Startup Fest 2022 in Kathmandu on 25th June Saturday.

The Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs Forum has stated that it will organize Nepal Startup Fest 2022 with the objective of encouraging young entrepreneurs by holding a press conference in Kathmandu on Thursday.

The startup fest to be held at Soltee Hotel in Kathmandu on June 25 is being supported by the National Planning Commission, Youth and Small Entrepreneurs Self-Employment Fund and the Embassy of India in Nepal.

According to the organizers, 10 of the selected candidates will be given an opportunity to present at the startup fest and will also be given an opportunity to invest capital.

Earlier, startups were given a deadline of May 10 to submit investment applications, and more than 300 project proposals were received from across the country.

The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has said that 10 of them will be given the opportunity to make presentations as well as provide capital and technical assistance and investors will have the opportunity to invest in excellent projects.

In addition, more than 40 startups will be showcasing their products and services.
