HMD Global unveils Nokia X30 5G, Nokia G60 5G, Nokia C31 at IFA 2022
At the IFA 2022 conference in Berlin on Thursday, HMD Global unveiled a number of new Nokia products.
The Nokia X30 5G, the company’s “most eco-friendly handset to date,” is the main attraction of the event. It has a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen and is run by a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC. The Nokia C31 and Nokia G60 5G smartphones were also unveiled that day.
The Nokia T21 tablet, the Nokia Portable Wireless Speaker 2, and the Nokia Clarity Earbuds were also introduced alongside the smartphones.
Nokia X30 5G specifications, features
This smartphone has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixel) resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, up to 700 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Snapdragon 695 5G SoC and Android 12 power the device.
The smartphone has a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, as well as a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, both located on the back. Moreover, a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass safeguards the back camera arrangement. A front-facing camera with 16 megapixels is included.
The battery in the Nokia X30 5G is 4,200 mAh and it supports 33W quick charging. It has an IP67 rating, is roughly 185g in weight, and has dimensions of 158.9 x 73.9 x 7.99 mm. The fingerprint reader is embedded in the screen of the phone. It has Bluetooth v5.1 and Wi-Fi on both of its bands.

The Nokia G60 5G’s 6.58-inch display is full HD+ (1,080 x 2,408 pixels) and supports 120 Hz refresh rate and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Snapdragon 695 5G SoC and Android 12 fuel the Nokia G60 5G.
It has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth camera, all located on the back. Front and center on the Nokia G60 5G is an 8-megapixel camera, perfect for those Instagram-worthy groupies.
The battery on this smartphone is 4,500 mAh and supports rapid charging at 20W. The IP52 water-resistant design is housed in a body that is 165.99×75.93×8.61mm and weighs roughly 190g. The fingerprint reader for the Nokia G60 5G is located on the phone’s side.
Nokia C31 specifications, features
The water-drop notch and 2.5D toughened glass protect the 6.75-inch HD+ (720×1,600-pixel) display on this smartphone. It runs Android 12 and has a 1.65 GHz octa-core processor. The primary camera on the Nokia C31 has a resolution of 13 megapixels, while the two secondary cameras each have a resolution of 2 megapixels.
The Nokia C31 weighs roughly 200g and has dimensions of 169.2×77.98×8.6mm. The built-in battery has a capacity of 5,050 mAh and is capable of receiving a 10W quick charge. A fingerprint sensor and water resistance of IP52 are among its other impressive features.

HMD Global also introduced the Charcoal Grey Nokia T21 tablet. It has up to 128GB of storage space and 4GB of RAM. The tablet may be purchased for as little as EUR 239. (roughly Rs. 19,000). Both the Nokia Portable Wireless Speaker 2 and the Nokia Clarity Earbuds 2 Pro were also unveiled at the event.

Nokia X30, Nokia G60 and Nokia C31 Price
Pricing for the Nokia X30 5G begins at €529. (roughly Rs. 67,000). It’s available in both Cloudy Blue and Ice White. The phone will be available with either 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space.
The Nokia G60 5G, which comes in Pure Black and Ice Grey, starts at EUR 349 (about Rs. 44.300) and has a similar color palette. Nokia claims that it is available in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants.
The Nokia C31 is a low-cost smartphone that can be purchased for as little as EUR129 (roughly Rs. 16,500). It is offered in the color palette of Charcoal, Cyan, and Mint. The phone will be available with three different RAM/storage combinations: 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB.
