On Wednesday, Vivo released two new smartphones in India: the Vivo V27 Pro and the Vivo V27. The new Vivo V27 series, announced this year by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, are powered by Android 13, the Funtouch OS 13, and feature cutting-edge MediaTek SoCs.

They include color-changing back glass panels and 3D curved screens that refresh at 120Hz. On the rear, you’ll find a triple camera setup on both the Vivo V27 Pro and regular Vivo V27.

The base model of the Vivo V27 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G SoC, while the Pro version is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.

Vivo V27 Pro and Vivo V27 :: Features

Both phones in Vivo’s V27 series have similar hardware and software. Both the Vivo V27 Pro and the standard Vivo V27 sport a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixel) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and operate on FunTouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13.

A 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8200 CPU and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM are at the heart of the Vivo V27 Pro. Yet the Vivo V27 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G Chipset.

Both devices have a triple-camera configuration on the back, with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens.

Wedding-style portrait, aura light, panorama, and time-lapse photography are just few of the video and picture modes that may be used with the back camera. The Vivo V27 Pro and regular Vivo V27 both have an autofocus 50-megapixel camera up front.

The Vivo V27 series has microSD card expansion but up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 built in storage.

5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, Beidu, Glonass, Galileo, Navic, and a USB Type-C connection are all available for data transfer and wireless communication.

There are a variety of sensors built in, including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. They also have fingerprint scanners for security.

Both the Vivo V27 Pro and the regular Vivo V27 include a 4,600mAh battery and 66W fast charging, which is supposed to provide a 50 percent charge in as little as 19 minutes.

Pro version dimensions and weight are 164.1×74.8×7.36mm and 182 grams. In terms of size, the Vivo V27 measures 164.1 x 74.8 x 7.4 mm and tips the scales at 180 grams.

Vivo V27 Pro and Vivo V27 :: Price and Availablity

The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option of the Vivo V27 Pro costs Rs. 37,999 in India while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs Rs. 39,999.

The most expensive version, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, costs Rs. 42,999.

Comparatively, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Vivo V27 costs Rs. 32,999, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs Rs.36,999.

The Vivo V27 series, available in Magic Blue and Noble Black, will be sold in India via Flipkart, Vivo’s official online shop, and select offline retailers.

The Vivo V27 Pro is now available for pre-order, with sales beginning on March 6. The Vivo V27 is on sale March 23. Customers can save Rs. 3,000 when they pre-book the new handsets with HDFC, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra bank cards or HDB financial services.
