Hyundai launches facelift version of Venue compact SUV in India
Hyundai India rolled out the facelift model of Venue 2022. The entry-level compact SUV receives its first significant revamp three years after its launch in India.
The new SUV’s front and rear fascias and features have been significantly upgraded, but its mechanics are identical to those of its predecessor.
The 2022 Venue is powered by the same 83hp, 1.2-liter gasoline, 120hp, 1.0-liter turbo gasoline, and 100hp, 1.5-liter diesel engines. However, higher-end vehicles will now feature three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, selectable via a new rotary dial located on the center console.
The front and back of the 2022 Venue undergo substantial stylistic modifications. The Venue is equipped with contemporary LED projector headlights and a dark chrome front grille.
Additionally, a larger central air intake has been fitted to the front bumper. Internal LED DRL components have also been updated.
The rear portion of the 2022 Venue has been overhauled with an H-Lamp design and new connected LED taillamps with a disguised brake light.
The redesigned bumper provides the vehicle a more robust appearance. While the design of the 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels remains unchanged, they have been revised.
The interior of the 2022 Venue features a new two-tone color scheme of black and beige.
This iteration of the Venue features, among other things, a rear seat that reclines, an air purifier, dual USB C-slots positioned below the rear AC vents for rear passengers, a wireless phone charger, paddle shifters, and an electrically adjustable four-way driver’s seat.
The facelifted Venue comes equipped with six airbags, ESC, VSM, hill-start assist, and other safety features.
The refreshed Hyundai Venue 2022 will be offered in six single-tone hues and one dual-tone hue.
The facelift version of Venue is offered in six variants, with costs beginning at INR 7.53 lakh.
