POCO M4 Pro 5G specs leaked ahead of launch

POCO M4 Pro 5G

Xiaomi’s Poco brand is preparing to introduce a new smartphone after the release of the POCO C31. Poco will release a new smartphone in the second half of the year named POCO M4 Pro 5G.

The smartphone’s model number “21091116AG” has begun to appear on EEC, 3C, IMEI, and TENAA certification sites. Then its name, global release date, and a few more details were made public.

Poco only released the POCO M3 Pro 5G in May of this year.

On the average, it takes a smartphone about five to six weeks after it receives international certification sites to go on sale in the US and other countries.

The smartphone will handle 33W fast charging, compared to the 18W load on the POCO M3 Pro, according to the data tables.

MIUI 12 will be built on Android 11 and this smartphone will have a 6.53-inch FHD+ display, which is equivalent to 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. Other predicted specs include 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB of storage (with a 128GB variant), the MIUI 12 user interface, and a Snapdragon 636 processor.

The apparent 5G connection, NFC, dual SIM, as well as a microSD card reader and a minijack port for headphones, would be found on the POCO M4 Pro 5G. One of its most notable features would be the battery’s endurance, with a capacity of 6,000 mAh.

It’s difficult to guess what’ll be in the camera module, but we’re expecting a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP macro. An 8MP sensor would be used for the selfie camera on the front of the device. We’re dealing with the least expensive POCO handset here, which puts it below the F3 and just above the X3, X3, and the X3 Pro.

As for the new POCO mid-range smartphone, we’ll see what it brings to the table as an independent brand. The hardware should focus on performance, 5G, and autonomy once again.
