Power supply to be disrupted for six hours in various parts of KTM from today

Power supply to be disrupted

KATHMANDU, May 16: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced that power supply will be affected in various parts of the KTM valley from today.

The NEA has stated that power supply will be disrupted in Nayabazar on Thursday, Naya Bazar and Chhetrapati on May 18, Bhimsensthan on May 19, and Bhimsensthan and Tripureshwar area on May 21.

According to a notice issued by the NEA, power supply is being affected in various parts of the valley due to the work of undergrounding the electrical lines under the Ratnapark distribution center.

The NEA has stated that power supply will be interrupted today under the Naya Bazaar feeder in areas including Khusibu, Sohrakhutte Chowk, Valley Cold Store, and People’s Dental Hospital.

On May 18, power supply will be disrupted under the Chhetrapati feeder in areas including Teku, Pushpalal Park, Dhalko, Chhetrapati Dhobichaur, Tahiti, Pakanchowk, Jytha, and Kantipath.

Similarly, on May 19, power supply will be disrupted under the Bhimsensthan feeder in areas including Ward No-12 Ward Office, Hyumat, Jaisideval Chikamugal, and Kasthamandap. On May 21, power supply will be disrupted under the Bhimsensthan and Tripureshwor feeders in areas including Pachli Bhairav Mandir, Bamsi Ghat, Savalbahal, Tripureshwor, Bishwo Niketan School, and Ward No. 12 Ward Office.

Furthermore, there will be a power outage under the Bhimsensthan feeder in areas including Ward No-12 Ward Office, Hyumat, Jaishi Dewal, Chikamugal, and Bhimsensthan on May 19. There will also be a power outage under the Bhimsensthan and Tripureshwor feeders in areas including Teku, Pachali Bhairav Temple, Bamsi Ghat, Swolabahal, Tripureshwor, Bishwo Niketan School, and Ward No-12 Ward Office on May 21.

The NEA has stated that the power supply will be disrupted from 11 AM to 5 PM in the above-mentioned areas.
