ROKit, an unknown name in the smartphone world has debuted in the US market with a twist – the company will be selling glasses free 3D smartphones combined with “Life Services” which provides emergency services and other healt care services.
The handsets range from feature phones, such as ROKiT One and ROKiT F-ONE to ROKiT IO LIGHT , IO 3D and PRO IO 3D smartphones .
As the names suggest, the latter two include the company’s 3D display technology, promising to play 3D content without glasses. However, the real highlight of the ROKiT phones is the service package which includes:

- Road Assistance
- Identity Theft Protection
- Accidental Death Insurance
- Burial and Cremation Service
- Family Legal Services
“We are the first company to combine vital life services with affordable, high-quality phones, because we believe that having these basic needs is a right for everyone, not just the chosen few.” said the company in a statement.
Ranging from life and health insurance plans to roadside assistance and streaming service ROCKFLiX 3D , the company offers all of its services for free for one year.
In terms of specifications, the flagship device ROKiT PRO IO 3D has a FHD + display of 5.99 “with a glass body. It has a Helio P23 chipset which comes along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the cameras at the rear has a configuration dual 13MP + 2MP camera with flash and a fingerprint sensor.
The phone runs a clean version of the Android 8.1 Oreo , and there are two SIM slots, a 3.5mm headset and a 3,850 mAh battery that can be recharged via microUSB.
ROKiT phones cost from $ 40 to $ 300 and are aimed at serving the affordable segment or those who do not have access to readily available medical services. All five devices are available today from the ROKiT and Walmart websites .
