Xiaomi announced, on Tuesday (Nov 9), the Poco M4 Pro 5G. The new smartphone from the Chinese brand draws attention for its 50 megapixel dual camera, 90 Hz screen and 5,000 mAh battery in the midrange segment. In addition, the smartphone comes out of the box with MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor and Android 11 (MIUI 12.5) from the factory.

The dual camera setup on the rear sits on a base like the Redmi Note 11 module. In it, there’s the 50 megapixel main camera and another 8 MP sensor with an ultrawide lens, capable of capturing an angle of view of 119°. The camera also features night mode, records time-lapse videos and has other features to enhance photos.

Another highlight is the 6.6-inch screen. With Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels), the panel supports 90 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling. In addition, the display has a hole on top to house the 16 megapixel front camera . The Poco M4 Pro 5G is available in three color options – yellow, blue and black.

Poco phone with huge battery

The battery is one of the points that draws the most attention in it’s specs details. It comes with a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh. According to the manufacturer, it is possible to play games on this smartphone for up to 12 hours straight without plugging it again. In addition, the 33-watt recharge promises to restore battery level back to 100% power in less than an hour.

The Poco phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. The chip is made up of eight cores with speeds of up to 2.4 GHz and is produced in a six-nanometer process. At the time of purchase, consumers can opt for variants with up to 6 GB of RAM memory (LPDDR4X) and up to 128 GB of storage (UFS 2.2).

Poco M4 Pro 5G is available in three color options.

The Chinese manufacturer even unveiled a new edition of the Poco F3 in a grayish tone (Moonlight Silver). Like the M4 Pro 5G, the new F3 variant will hit stores in Europe on November 11th. The suggested price starts at 299 euros which is around Rs 41,000 ; the smartphone will have two storage options with up to 256 GB of space.

Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G Price in Nepal

The Poco M4 Pro 5G will be marketed in two variants in Europe. The model with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of space will cost 199 euros. The edition with 6 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage will be on sale for 219 euros. The amounts are equivalent to approximately Rs 27,300 and Rs 30000, respectively, in direct conversion.
