Mazout Electric Cruiser motorbike unveiled with a range of upto 350 kms

Mazout Electric Cruiser

The e-mobility fad is currently gaining off in India, a country where two-wheeled motorcycles are widespread. One company, Mazout, plans to release its own electric motorcycles in the near future, hoping to take advantage of both trends.

New start-up Mazout is aiming to take advantage of India’s burgeoning electric two-wheeler sector. However, the business claims that their incoming motorcycle is the country’s first “cruiser” motorcycle. The company has already shown off a prototype of its showpiece vehicle at events like the EV India Expo 2021.

This start-up, founded by Delhi Technical University-affiliated engineers, is developing a motorcycle that it promises would have a distinct selling feature when it is released. This is due to the fact that it may be the first electric cruiser bike in India at this time.

While only one prototype of a “electric cruiser” (also known as a “e-touring bike”) has been built so far, the company claims that the final product will have a range of 350 kilometers (km) or 218 miles and a top speed of 120 km/h or 75 mph. These specifications could be met by a vehicle powered by a 6 kW motor and a 25 kWh battery.

No word yet on the model’s release or availability, but Mazout is taking bookings for the 150km and 300km variants, which should arrive in the third quarter of 2022.
