Dec. 22 is the official date for the launch of the Vivo S12 series, which includes the Vivo S12 and the Vivo S12 Pro models from the Chinese manufacturer.
Vivo has published a teaser for the Vivo S12 Pro just days before its official presentation in its home nation, showing some of its specifications and design. Dual LED flash and two front-facing cameras are visible on the device. Vivo’s next S-series smartphone will include a gold color option, the company has announced.
Using its official Weibo account, Vivo is teasing the upcoming Vivo S12 Pro smartphone in the color Gold. The front of the phone is adorned with a dual-LED flash and a dual-camera setup. Vivo confirmed that one of the front cameras will have a resolution of 50 megapixels. The phone has three rear-facing cameras, including a 108-megapixel primary camera.
The 6.5-inch full-HD+ OLED display on the Vivo S12 Pro is expected to refresh at a rate of 90Hz. Origin OS Ocean UI, based on Android 12, is projected to operate on the device. The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset is most likely to be found within. In addition to the chipset, 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and a 256GB SSD are rumored to be included as part of the system.
The 8-megapixel Hynix Hi846 ultrawide lens is also expected to be included of the Vivo S12 Pro’s dual selfie camera configuration. An 8-megapixel OmniVision OV8856 ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel sensor are also rumored to be part of the triple back camera array. Additionally, the phone is expected to include a 4,300mAh battery that can be charged at 44W.

The price and specifications of the Vivo S12 Pro have been leaked numerous times in the past. According to a previous leak, the Vivo S12 Pro smartphone with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage would cost CNY 3,499 when it goes on sale (roughly Rs. 66,460).
