Vivo’s new model from the Y-Series, Y55 4G has arrived in Nepali market. While the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC powers Vivo Y55 5G, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC powers the new 4G model of the Y55.
An Indian version of the Vivo Y55 4G appears to be a rebranded version of the iQoo Z6 phone and is available in only one configuration choice. The details about this phone’s release date in other territories has not yet been announced by Vivo.
Details and characteristics of the Vivo Y55 4G
The Vivo Y55 4G is slightly different from the Vivo Y55 5G in terms of features. The Snapdragon 680 SoC powers this device, as previously stated.
The Vivo Y55 4G has a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (2,400×1,080 pixels) resolution, 408ppi density, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is equipped with 8GB RAM which can be extended further with 4GB of Expanded RAM.
Powered by Funtouch OS 12, this smartphone is able to run on Android 12.
The 50-megapixel primary sensor on this phone has an aperture of f/1.8, making it an excellent choice for low-light conditions. Dual 2-megapixel sensors with an f/2.4 aperture are also found on the rear of the phone. For selfies, the Vivo Y55 4G comes equipped with an f/2.0 aperture 16-megapixel camera on the front-facing side.
You can stream continuous HD video for up to 18 hours on the Vivo Y55 4G’s 5,000mAh capacity battery. The battery supports 44W fast charging, which is said to deliver up to 50% battery backup in just 28 minutes.
The smartphone is equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0 for increased interoperability.
On the bottom of the phone, there is also a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device has a size and weight of 160.80×73.79×8.42mm and 182g respectively.
