Vivo U3 Launched with Snapdragon 675, Triple Camera and 5000 mAh battery
Vivo today officially introduced the smartphone Vivo U3. The new device falls in the same price segment as Redmi 8 (from $100-$150), but specification wise it looks much better.
While the Redmi 8 features the Snapdragon 439, the Vivo U3 is built on the Snapdragon 675 SoC . Another feature while comparing with the Redmi 8 is that the Vivo U3 has a triple camera with 16MP and 8MP (with a super-wide lens) and 2 MP (macro) instead of a dual camera setup on the Redmi 8.
The Vivo U3 targets conusmers from the budget segment who desire for acceptable performing smartphone at lower price.
Starting from the screen, Vivo U3 features a 6.53-INCH LCD display, with FHD + resolution and drop notch to accommodate the 16 MP front camera. According to the company, this sensor can be used for facial recognition.

On the rear it has three camera sensors laid in the upper corner in a vertical arrangement. The primary sensor is of 16 MP, while the secondary is a wide of 8 MP and the third sensor guarantees the depth of field with 2 MP sensor.
In the performance segment, the Vivo U3 comes out of the box with Snapdragon 675 processor, 4 GB OR 6 GB of RAM AND 64 GB of internal storage. The devices’ storage can also be further expanded by external MicroSD card . The Vivo U3 battery capacity is 5,000 mAh and is supported by a 18-watt wired fast charge through the Micro-USB port.
The device runs the Android 9.0 Pie out of the box based on Funtouch OS9 UI shell and brings features such as Multi-Turbo mode for gaming.
Vivo U3 is already available for pre-order, while the actual sales starts on October 21. The basic version of the 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage variant costs $140 while the 6GB RAM option is more expensive at $170.
