Samsung Galaxy Book2 is among the products on the official stand of the South Korean company at Barcelona Mobile World Congress 2019 . It is Samsung’s interpretation of the 2-in-1 idea that gave birth to Microsoft first products of the Surface range: a Windows 10 tablet with keyboard-cover to be used as a notebook while on the move. The big news of this second-generation introduced by Samsung is in the processor: it switched from the Intel x64 architecture of the original to the ARM64 of Qualcomm ‘s Snapdragon 850 .
Samsung Galaxy Book 2 was presented last October . It has a 12-inch Super AMOLED display and a resolution of 2,160 x 1,440 pixels, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, and a battery life of 20 hours (the real advantage of the ARM architecture). Between the ports there are two USB Type-C, a microSD player and a headphone jack. Additionally there’s also a front 5 MP camera and an 8 MP rear camera.
With the long-lasting battery in the Galaxy Book2, you can work uninterrupted for up to 20 hours more than two full work days. And with Adaptive Fast charging, it can recharge quickly whenever you find a spare moment.

The operating system is Windows 10 in S mode, i.e. with security restrictions among other things prevent the installation of apps outside the Microsoft Store. This mode can be deactivated by upgrading to Windows 10 Home .
