Meizu has expanded its portfolio in China by announcing two smartphones – the Meizu 16X and the Meizu X8. Both the smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with 6GB RAM, sport dual cameras aligned vertically at the back, a 20-megapixel selfie camera, and run on Android 8.1 Oreo based on Flyme OS. While the X8 sports a rear fingerprint sensor, the 16X has an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the other hand, the Meizu 16X does not sport a display notch, but the X8 sports an iPhone X-like display notch.

Meizu 16X, X8 price, availability
Starting with the Meizu 16X, the smartphone is priced at CNY 2,098 (roughly NRs. 35,250) for the 64GB storage version and the 128GB storage version costs CNY 2,398 (roughly NRs. 40,300). The smartphone has been made available for pre-order in Black, Gold, and White colour options, and the Meizu 16X is slated to go on sale in China on September 26.
The Meizu X8 comes in three variants – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model costs CNY 1,598 (roughly NRs. 26,852), 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model costs CNY 1,798 (roughly NRs. 30,200), and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs CNY 1,998 (roughly NRs. 33,570). It has been made available in Black, Blue, and White colour options, and is slated go on sale in China from October 15.
