Navin Distributors, the authorised distributor of Hisense in Nepal, has launched its curved ultra high definition (UHD) LED television. The 65-in TV is powered by Android 4.2 OS and features dozens of Smart TV features like Netflix, Vudu HD Movies, Amazon Instant Video, Pandora, Chrome, YouTube and Google Play, among others.

The curved display allows a theatre-like viewing experience in the living room as it has a 3,840 x 2,160 pixel screen resolution. The TV features a 120 Hz refresh rate screen viewing. “It is very suitable for people wanting to enjoy a cinematic experience at home,” said Ashish Tibrewala, director of the company.

The TV also features 4K Ultra HD, vision TV, Mobile High Definition Link (MDL), SMR 800 Hz, 3D, in-built microphone and wireless connectivity.

“As the TV features a slim, curvy and elegant style, it will perform well in this niche TV segment,” he said, adding that Hisense TVs would stand out against LG, Samsung and Sony in terms of prices.

The company aims to sell 75 units this year. It is planning to roll out a 55-in model of the TV this month. It will cost Rs 550,000 against Rs 750,000 for the 65-in model.
