Mahindra XUV500 launched in Nepal

Agni Incorporated, the authorized distributor of Mahindra vehicles for Nepal, on Wednesday unveiled the New Age XUV500 in the Nepali market.

Issuing a press release, the company said the new XUV500 is packed with a host of cutting-edge technology features, bold new cheetah-inspired exterior styling, plush and premium new interiors, exhilarating performance, and best-in-class safety.

The XUV500 is available in six variants — W4, W6, W8, W8 AWD and W10 AWD. Price of the SUV starts from Rs 4.95 million.

The vehicle comes with electric sunroof, first in class logo projection lamps on ORVMs, 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, push button start, passive keyless entry, 18-cm (7-inch) touch screen infotainment system with GPS, premium new black and beige interiors, and plush new beige leather seats among others, the release added.

Launching the vehicle, Sanjay Jadhav, head of International Operations, South Asia of Mahindra & Mahindra, said: “The XUV500 has pushed the boundaries for Mahindra since its launch, on the fronts of technology, capability and brand. Today as we launch XUV500 in Nepal, we are confident that it will satisfy the needs of our customers”.

Likewise, Cabinet Shrestha, managing director of Agni Incorporated said: “With the launch of the New Age XUV500 in Nepal, we are glad to bring in new experiences to our customers in the marketplace. I am confident that the product will excite our customers, with upgrades in styling, infotainment, ride and handling.”
