Dutch airline ArkeFly to begin flights to KTM
For the second year, Dutch airline ArkeFly will connect Amsterdam with Kathmandu from Oct. 1 until the last flight on April 23, 2011.
The flight departs Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport every Friday at 22:05 hours and arrives in Kathmandu Saturday morning at 9:35.
ArkeFly will bring in Dutch and other European passengers with its B737-800 jetliner and will contribute significantly to Nepal Tourism Year 2011. Last year, during the 2009-10 seasons, ArkeFly flew in 3,000 tourists, said a press statement issued by the airline.

Malla is also offering special introductory airfares and tour packages on the first three flights departing Kathmandu, i.e., on Oct. 2, 9 and 16.
