Renault Nepal is launching the all new LODGY STEPWAY range, as it looks to appeal to customers looking for a fascinating value proposition.
The new Renault LODGY STEPWAY range boasts an extensive feature set, from superior performance, comfort, safety, space and unmatched fuel efficiency, claims the company. It is powered by the K9K 1.5 litre dCi (Common Rail Direct Injection engine) will be available in 2 engine configurations, the 1.5L dCi 85PS and the 1.5L dCi 110PS. The 85PS configuration has a 5-speed manual transmission while the more powerful 110PS configuration has a 6-speed manual transmission.
According to the company, the engine features best-in-class performance, taking forward Renault’s commitment to continuous innovation to deliver cars that best suit the customer. The MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) is available for an introductory price of Rs 39,95,000.
The LODGY STEPWAY is looking to redefine the stale 1 litre segment by setting new benchmarks in length, power to weight ratio, boot space, ground clearance and technology, reads a press release. The MPV offers intuitive features like steering mounted audio and phone controls along with an advanced touch screen Media NAV console with support of AUX, USB and Bluetooth.
The MPV looks stunning inside with gris fume and beige coloured premium leather blended upholstery along with a two-tone dashboard bearing black centre fascia with chrome accents, claims the company. Even the 207 litre boot space is spacious and can be expanded up to 1861 litre. Other convenient features like sunglass holder, flight trays, bottle holders and more add to the premium look and feel to the inside of the MPV.
Renault has also attached a bold jewel-studded grille on the front coupled with R16 Panache alloy wheels to give the MPV a striking and imposing look, reads the press statement.
The LODGY STEPWAY range looks good internally and externally, yet its biggest feature is the 1.5 litre dCi engine that provides an effortless driving experience with smart features like cruise control with speed limiter, claims the company. Renault takes safety very seriously and has loaded the LODGY STEPWAY range with a host of safety features like airbags, engine immobiliser, central locking, auto door lock, seat belt reminder, rear wiper and washer, open door warning and rear defogger. The MPV also features ABS with EBD and Brake Assist.
According to the company, the LODGY STEPWAY range is positioned attractively across the range and delivers on cost efficiencies led by leading mileage, low maintenance costs, superior drive performance with SUV-like ride quality, handling, suspension and ground clearance.
The LODGY STEPWAY range will be available in 4 variants: Lodgy Standard, Lodgy RxE, Lodgy RxL and Lodgy RxZ (7 and 8 seat option available) that can be equipped with either the 85PS or 110PS engine. The company mentions that the LODGY STEPWAY comes in six exciting colours – Planet Grey, Royal Orchid, Slate Grey, Fiery Red, Moonlight Silver and Pearl White.
